With that in mind, here’s a behind-the-scenes look at what we’ve been working on recently ... and what’s coming soon.
You’ve told us how helpful it would be to share documents with trusted family members, carers, or partners - particularly passports, school forms, medical details, and legal documents.
The sharing feature is already built, but we’ve purposefully held it back from release while we complete final-stage security validation. Getting this right really matters. People trust doqit with some of the most sensitive parts of their lives, and that trust is not something we ever compromise on.
When sharing goes live, you’ll be able to confidently provide controlled access to specific documents; keeping the people you trust in the loop, while staying firmly in control.
We’re almost ready to start the process of rolling out our Smart Scanning feature (Optical Character Recognition / OCR). The great news is that means when you snap a photo of a document or upload a file, doqit will automatically extract key details like policy numbers, expiry dates, and document titles - so you don’t have to enter them manually.
It’s a big time-saver, and part of our goal to make good life admin habits simple and quick to stick with.
Soon, you’ll be able to create secure connected accounts within your household, so things like passports, school documents, driving licences or pet information can be a shared responsibility, not just sitting on one person’s shoulders.
Whether you’re part of a family, a household with housemates, or overseeing care for someone else, this gives you a safer, simpler way to manage the admin that sits across multiple lives.
doqit isn’t just about digital filing. It’s about reducing mental load, plugging the invisible leaks that cost time, money, and headspace; and giving people a calm, central place to stay on top of it all.
These enhancements will take the platform to the next level and are rooted in the same principles we’ve held from day one: trust, simplicity, inclusivity.
